Et voila!

All done! I finished it last night, staying up late because I wanted to wear it to school today. The non-knitters at school fussed over my hair (which I hate, but everyone else seems to like), and the knitters were touching me all day long, oohing and aahing over the yarn.

I love this sweater!! I think this is the best job I've ever done on sleeves. I love the back, too. It was the whole reason I made this sweater. I was afraid it would make my butt look big, but it really doesn't. It's very flattering, and the side decreases follow my hip and waist curves perfectly. I'm so relieved! When I started knitting this, I was only a couple months out of surgery, and I pretty much had to guess what size to knit. Lucked out!

It was really hard to take a picture of the buttons, but here it is. These buttons are awesome. They're irridescent purple, with swirls on them. They practically jumped off the rack into my hands. And they go perfectly.

How many times did I use 'perfect' or a derivitave in this post? Hmmm...think maybe I like this sweater or something?
